We seek to be lifelong students of Jesus committed to loving God and loving our neighbor. We are all ministers and are called to join God in his work of reconciling all creation to himself by the power of his Spirit living within us. We are committed to listening to the story of Scripture and letting the text do the talking above our opinions, preferences, and traditions. There is always room for one more, regardless of where you come from, what you've done, or who you are. You are welcome and our hope is that you feel as if you belong here. We want to love one another from the youngest to the oldest and by doing so reflect our love for God. We invite you to walk with us on this journey and to drink deeply of the Living Water of Jesus himself as we pursue him together.

Intergenerate

Come be part of our Intergenerate Sunday on August 24, 2025 — Many churches today face worry and concern over their collective future. One tragic consequence is that growing anxiety can turn inward on communities of faith. A subtle distancing and dividing can occur, often happening along generational lines. Us-versus-Them thinking morphs into Old-versus-Young. Instead of a culture of generation to generation, churches are shaped and formed more by a culture of generation versus generation.

Wilson McCoy, a leading voice helping churches navigate this area, is dedicated to helping churches build healthy connections that create space for better understanding.We are excited that he will be with us and leading our Intergenerate 2025. Intergenerate 2025 will be part of our Sunday gathering times with an additional time to share a meal and have small group discussions afterward.

We extend a special welcome to those who are single, married, divorced, gay, filthy rich, dirt poor, or no hablo inglés. We want to welcome those who vote Republican, Democrat, third-party, or choose not to vote at all. We extend a welcome to those who have crying newborns, are as skinny as a rail, or could afford to lose a few pounds.

We welcome you if you can sing like T-Swift or our preacher who each can hold their own. You're welcome here if you're 'just curious', just woke up, or just got out of jail. We don't care if you're more Church of Christ than Alexander Campbell, or haven't seen the inside of a church since Easter... or ever!

We extend a special welcome to those who are over 60 but aren't grownups yet, and to teens who are growing up too fast. We welcome soccer moms, outdoorsmen dads, starving artists, tree huggers, latte sippers, vegetarians, and junk food eaters. We welcome you if you're having problems or you're down in the dumps, and if you don't like 'organized religion'....we've been there too.

If you blew all your offering money on the lottery, you're welcome here. We offer a special welcome to those who think the earth is flat, work too hard, don't work, can't spell, or are here because grandma is visiting and she wanted to go to church.

We welcome those who are inked, pierced, or both. We offer a special welcome to those who could use a prayer right now, had religion shoved down their throat as a kid, or got lost on the way to the lake and wound up here by mistake. We welcome tourists, seekers, doubters, bleeding hearts... and you!!!

We want to welcome everyone. Because everyone needs Jesus. Everyone changes when they meet Jesus. And we want to make sure everyone knows they are invited to meet him in this place.
